Tweens/Teens in the Kitchen (5th-10th grade)

Location:  Ladera Ranch 


In this hands-on cooking class, young teens will get to experiment with simple yet sophisticated menus that they'll enjoy re-creating on their own.   Students will make 1 to 2 recipes each class session, and be given full size portions to sample of their creations.   In addition, they'll learn extensive knife skills, cooking and baking techniques, and how to become confident in the kitchen.  


Class includes all food and equipment, in addition to take home printed recipes.


$35 per session

Tweens in the Kitchen: Pick Your Day! One Time Drop-in Class

  • Please let us know if your child has any food allergies.

    • Please bring both pages of the signed waiver and release form to the first day of class.
    • Students must wear closed-toe shoes (safety first!) and hair must be tied back while preparing food. 
    • Please be aware that we do not have before or after care available.  Plan to drop-off no earlier than 15 minutes before class start time and pick-up no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of camp.
    • Though we do not cook with nuts, we can’t guarantee that the facility is 100% nut-free. We are generally able to accommodate campers with common allergies and dietary restrictions. Please contact us with specific questions or concerns.
